This is the place for all golfers who want at last to get GOOD at the game. And for those not yet into golf who'd like to quickly surpass their friends who have been playing for even many years!
Because here, with us, we give the lie to all the myriad of instructions which have and continue to give golfers the exact opposite idea of what they should be trying to do. No wonder the game's so hard, when virtually all instruction reinforces in the golfer's mind those very same natural but counter productive impulses that are certain to spell miseffort and defeat!.
For example, at what feels to you like the top of your backswing - that point at which you are properly told to pause for an instant - you are encouraged to do what seems the natural and logical thing: i.e., to shift your weight back to the left foot in conjunction with returning the clubface leftward on an inside to out to parallel course and into the ball. What could be more obviously the thing to be done at this stage of the golf movement and action? Nothing! And that's why the golfer proceeds to actively, advertently do just that.
The which 'doing' is suicide for any goal of best, most accurate, most powerful .. no, of even merely truly GOOD golf.
Actually, when you do this, deliberately shift weight back to the left foot, as all instruction we've ever seen will unavoidably get you to doing (by, indeed, even the very thinking such instruction allows you to entertain), you are automatically misrouting your supposed "return swing" and thereby consigning your results to less than certain or optimal. With lots and lots of practice, trial and error, and good luck, a relative few golfers do manage to reasonably groove a recovery response which gets the ball headed toward where it's supposed to go and with a semblance of desirable distance a fair proportion of the time, but even then they surely have lost the reliability and power that could be theirs if they but knew. They may, a very few of them (as we well know) kind of hover around par a fair percentage of the time, but they never will become the truly outstanding, championship, nonpareil golfers we see gobbling up most of the tournament wins and top placement finishes. Those players, the very top players, the Tiger Woodses, the Phil Mickelsons, etc. of today, and the Jack Nicklauses, the Sam Sneads, the Ben Hogans, Arnold Palmers, Gary Players, Byron Nelsons, etc. of earlier dominance, whether or not they ever realized it, surely did and do direct their "top of the swing" "return initiation" very nearly* in the manner and under the "purposed direction" our new golf approach, understanding and system will make yours, if you pursue and adopt our system. And it isn't hard at all. It's easy, feels very good, once you trust enough to try it fairly by giving earnest attention to the revolutionary things we will tell and demonstrate to you. And utilize, just a little bit during each season, the several practice and movement grooving appurtenances we will afford you.
Note* We use the word 'nearly' because in fact our
study of these gentlemen's (save Hogan's)
swings indicate they don't/didn't quite fully
employ GR secrets at the near top of the
backswing. What they do/did is to observe
the downswing principles given in rather
detailed treatment at our sister website
GOLFMADEEASY, thus virtually employing the
moves and ideas of the golfrevealed way
without quite utilizing the core secret that can
and will make the entire downswing automatic
and just about fool proof.
In essence we are saying these fabulous golf
greats, good as they are and were, could yet be
still better (by several strokes on each of their
averages) if they would assimilate and practice
the GR core secret. Nor will any of these
gentlemen, while understandably reserving their
judgements until more of REVEALED is
publicly released, take umbrage with the pos-
sibility of there being such a discovery as ours,
as at the very heart of their attained excellence
has always been intense curiosity and an ever
serving open mindedness to the possibility of
new ways, improved new mechanics. Jack
Nicklaus, perhaps even more than any others
(but not greatly so),right in the very heart of his
illustrious career, while he was setting and
establishing unheard of major tournament
records was regularly looking into this or that
new approach to the game and giving it its full
deserved testing and opportunity. The man had
no conCEPtion of . . . 'good enough'!
Now please hear, note and understand these all important revelations that follow. - "Purposed direction", that all important matter, that thing we name and speak to you about as "purposed direction" is - THAT LAST WILLFULLY, CONSCIOUSLY DIRECTED PHYSICAL EFFORT AND MENTAL GOAL AND DIRECTIVE APPLIED (DONE) BY THE GOLFER IN HIS STROKE ATTEMPT, from which point all further action and motion are controlled by unleashed forces themselves and NOT by the golfer whatsoever. Thus, in our system and application (and you will get to understand this quite well) the last effort made by the golfer is at this presumed (there's a reason for using this word 'presumed' - you'll understand as your learning of our system progresses) top of the backswing point, which is as it should be, whereas with ordinary golfers (even those with difficulty hovering around par but no better) who merely learn to correct on the way down a faulty beginning from the top in the first place, the golfer's willful attempts and efforts need and must be continuous all through the uncertain path to the ball, and, at this ever growing increase in speed and urgency, such a demand upon the golfer himself - is bound to and does result in reduced reliability and, even more surely, in importantly minimized power and distance (which, also, you will get to understand and appreciate quite well).
